Shikha Badhera, this name doesn’t need any kind of
introduction. A name that pronounces Intelligent, Cool, Meritorious, Brave,
Straight Forward, Hesitation Free, Stress Free, Ready for Every Task, her lovely
Smile and the most important Helpful (Is
Kalyug ki Mother Teresa). On should learn how she does it?
“Areyy… Rukk, mein batati hu na……..Rukk,....dekh
asie hoga ye……….Dekh mein padhata hu tujhe” And her hand posture that she
makes. That, takes away all your problems.
Either it’s
your project report, midterm, any lab or even semester exam she is ever ready.
Just call her Shikha. Bet me, even if you are on the first
bench and she on the last, she would somehow manage and drag you out of your
problem. Either she know the solution or not, now it’s her problem. You need
not worry. J
She is one
of those who care for feeling, I have always gifted her éclairs on her Birthday
(yaaa single éclairs, Rs.1, I know what you are thinking. {People like me still
live on this planet.}) But, she is so dam good that she accepts it every year
and appreciates it. #Respect_Sister. You are super awesome.
I was in a
serious mess with her on the first month of our class (Now I know how stupid
jerk I was). I am Sorry and can just say,
MY ENGINEERING
IS INCOMPLETE WITH YOU SHIKHA,
THANKS FOR
EVERY NANO SECOND, YOU STOOD BY MY SIDE.
I want to
quote her best saying
“Dekh
Bhai…. Talented to bachpan se thi…. Per
ghamand aaj tak nahi kiya.”
This is that
every human being should learn, especially people like us who are on the
building stage. There is so much to say about her, but I have my restrictions.
Team
MyCollegeStuffs wishes her a greatest, successful and brightest life ahead, may she wonders and make us proud.
Let’s start digging her winning attitude.
Q1.) Congratulation
Shikha, finally came the day and you did it. How does it feels after being placed?
Or actually being an Infosian?
Thanks
Shivam, it’s just simply AWESOME. Love to be an infosian .Starting from the 1st
year I wanted this place and wanted to feel this feeling. And yes I did
it, I am placed in INFOSYS. Literally, I irritated many people, and
especially Shivam tujhe to bhut pareshann kr rkha tha kbse ek hi line se..."mera
placement to ho jayega na yaar”. Thanks to all, for wishes and their
extreme support.
Q2.) Shikha Interview plays an important Role in Placement, please throw
some light on your Interview.
Interview
plays a critical role in your placement drive, not only your communication
skills but your attitude, attire are being checked at once.
INFOSYS
Campus Drive was conducted in 2 rounds
1) Aptitude
2) Interview
On 7th November, the aptitude round
started in college and the result of aptitude was announced on the same day and I
got shortlisted.
On 8th November, interview round started.
After a long wait around 2.00pm came my turn. It was a complete HR interview
Interview-
ME- May I come in sir
HR- So, Shikha how are you..? Have a seat
ME - I am good Sir, Thank you
HR -Tell me something about your college.
ME- Gave him a brief description
about college and how the college helped me regarding placement activity.
HR - Tell me something about your project.
ME - Told about the my minor
project
HR - tell me another project that you have completed.
ME- told
HR - Solve this puzzle.
ME- Solved (it was a simple series
problem.)
HR - Do u have any proficiency in IT field?
ME- Not, much deep.
HR - Ok, Shikha do you want to ask any question?
ME- I asked.. Sir in which
field do I need to improve myself, if I get a chance with Infosys.
HR - (told me) and wish me all d best.
Q3.) Your interview seems to be a long tail, Shikha what was your strategy for cracking Infosys?
I
preferred R.S.Agarwal and Shakuntala Devi for aptitude, verbal from Indiabix.com
and reasoning from sheets that were given by Career Launcher Team.
But try to sit in a group
in aptitude test, coordination plays a good role.
No, she is
definitely not telling us to cheat in tests. :P :p Believe Me…!!!
Q4.) Infosys
was a long and hectic process, has something changed in Life after being
placed? Or, you are still the same Shikha, we use to encounter?
Yes,
I am the same Shikha, whom you always tried to annoy and irritate. And after
being placed my confidence has definitely increased much high. Earlier, I used
to hesitate a lot, but now I have gained a ease through which I do my work.
Q5.) Shikha
what next? Some kind of final touch up to
any kind of your skills, or
totally handing yourself to Infosys. Like this is it, not any more?
totally handing yourself to Infosys. Like this is it, not any more?
No,
obviously now I have to work on my programming skills.
Q6.) What
are your future plans, basically Long Term Goals?
I can’t
handle these jobs and especially with Computer Science, I would prefer
Government Sector Jobs. And I have started preparing for them.
We wish her
a Best of Luck, for her dreams, and successful life ahead.
Q7.) What do
you think is Essential or Most Important for being
placed? (Technical/Aptitude/Communication)?
placed? (Technical/Aptitude/Communication)?
I
would rate Communication, 9 on the scale of 10, (no matters you are
grammatically wrong but be fluent.) And yes then technical 8 and aptitude again
8.
NOTE: - This is something which changes with each company. And would recommend you to use your own mind, as Shikha and Team MyCollegeStuffs is not responsible for any of the loss.
Q8.) What if
one is not technical sound, or he/she is technically impaired then? What are
your words?
If
you are not good in technical knowledge, no problem. They would only check your
confidence and communication.
This answer
was specifically for Infosys.
Q9.) Shikha still hunting for any other company or this is it (Infosys)?
If I get a
good opportunity then I would defiantly give it a try.
Q.10) who is
your idol? Or who has inspired you the most?
My parents
Q11.) Any
incident that has happened while the recruitment process, you want to share
with us?
The
moment when the HR announced the result, Shivam it was too torturing.
(p
tk aate aate to jaan nikl jati h) :D
We can
imagine that situation, going alphabetically.
Q12.) Every person how much successful he or she is, has a moment in life when he/she feels a sense of failure. Did you encountered any?
Yes,
and failures are the steps to success, many times it has happened to me too.
Even just few days back, before the arrival of Infosys, the rejection from GD
round in mock drive depressed me a lot., but she never cried. Good going
Girl, Keep it up.
Q13.) Shikha, being a Rajasthan Board (Regional Board) student, what kind of difficulties
did you faced?
No,
there is wasn’t any kind of difficulty. In placement activity HR just check my
basic communication level. The major concern in interview was whether we are
able to connect with other people or not.
Q14.) Any message
to Hindi Board Students?
RBSE or (Hindi medium)
students need to be change their thinking. We can also crack the interview
easily.
That is what every Hindi Medium Board student must read twice a day.
Q15.) Where
do you see yourself after 2 years? (In Infosys or Not?)
May
be or maybe not. Not yet decided
Q16.)
Finally any kind of a tip or trick for your friends?
Just
work on your communication skills and be confident J

One, thing
that Shikha should also learn from us that,
some people are born to rule and not to work. You need to decide, which side to play.
